Ron & Donna Young

As a native of Lake Wedowee, Alabama, Ron Young has built an abundance of memories on and around the lake. As a child, Ron recalls being excited about upcoming weekends on Lake Wedowee. Some of his most cherished childhood memories stem from the weekends he and his family enjoyed on the lake. This excitement and enthusiasm is still evident in Ron today and shows how passionate he is about Lake Wedowee.

Ron received his Alabama Real Estate License in 2004 and soon after became one of the area’s top producers. In 2007, he acquired his broker’s license and has continued to successfully match clients with their dream properties on and around Lake Wedowee. In 2010 Ron and Donna made the decision to open Wedowee Lake & Lands Realty, which is now one of the top producing real estate companies in Randolph County.

Ron offers a common sense, honest, informative, and extremely low pressure approach to real estate. His philosophy is “no one wishes to be sold, they wish to buy." Through experience and knowledge, Ron will assist buyers in finding the perfect property for them. He feels the high pressure sells approach has no place in real estate. Donna obtained her real estate license in 2009. Ron and Donna owned a vacation rental company prior to the opening of Wedowee Lake & Lands Realty. Donna has been the manager of the rental program for since 2008 and will continue to manage the vacation rental program for Wedowee Lake & Lands Realty. Gene & Ramonda Crouch

Gene and Ramonda have been enjoying the beauty and peacefulness of Lake Wedowee for over 20 years. They were married on Lake Wedowee in 1992 and it has been a passion in their lives ever since. They moved to Lake Wedowee full time in 2002 and became active in the community. Gene started his real estate career that year and has been and continues to be one on of the top real estate agents serving Lake Wedowee. Gene received his Broker’s license in 2007 and will be the associate Broker at Wedowee Lake & Land Realty.

Ramonda helped Gene grow his business over the years and decided in 2009 to become more officially active in the business. She took her real estate course that year and became a licensed real estate agent in early 2010. She and Gene now work together as a team listing and selling properties on Lake Wedowee.

Ramonda and Gene understand the values of Lake Wedowee not only in the real estate world but also in the family values. They have 4 children and 8 grandchildren who share their passion for “The Lake." Gene and Ramonda know the lake and show property by water and by land and would love to show you the beauty and peacefulness available at Lake Wedowee.

Terry & Sherrie Norton

Terry and Sherrie Norton are originally from Carrollton, Ga and have owned property on Lake Wedowee since 2003. The Nortons recently made Wedowee, AL their permanent residence. Moving to Wedowee was a natural choice, considering the beauty of the Lake Wedowee Area and the friendly hometown atmosphere. Terry and Sherrie are a husband and wife team involved in real estate sales. It is their desire to help people make buying property on Lake Wedowee and the surrounding area a dream come true, from finding a weekend getaway to a permanent family home. The difference with the Nortons is that they are not just about helping people to buy and sell homes, but they are about assisting every client with every aspect in a real estate decision The Nortons want to educate their clients about the Wedowee area in order for them to make the best choices for themselves and their family.

Josephine McGuire

Josephine comes to our office with 13 years of real estate experience, the last 8 years with the Re/Max Lakefront in Wedowee, Alabama. Josephine is married to Joe Will McGuire and they have raised two children, Will and Jason, in the Carroll County, Georgia area. They have two grandchildren. She and her husband have enjoyed living on beautiful Lake Wedowee since 1999. Prior to moving back to Randolph County, Josephine was an administrator in the Carroll County School Transportation Department overseeing the transportation of regular and special needs students. Josephine was born and raised on a 3 generation family farm near Woodland and graduated from Woodland High School.
